Terms and Condition
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the "Artist" refers to Abby Hazreem Hair & Makeup. The "Client' refers to the person named on the Quotation. Once the deposit is received by Abby Hazreem Hair & Makeup, the clients agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.
*It is the responsibility of the client who books to understand, agree and be responsible for all booking conditions, including all payments being made by the specified dates.

SERVICES : The type of services, number of services and date and location of services provided by Abby Hazreem Hair & Makeup are agreed to by both parties as stated by in the agreed upon written quote provided by the Artist once a deposit for that quote has been received. The Client must notify The Artist as soon as possible of any additional services required on the date. The Artist reserves the right to refuse the provision of services which are additional to those specified in the quote and not agreed to prior to the date of service. Where TBC is written for a service date in the quote provided, The Artist will endeavour to provide that service on a date that is preferable to the client, however, the provision of that service is subject to the Artist's availability.

BOOKING :​
Your wedding booking date will be held tentatively for three (3) days, from the date I accepts your booking.
Confirmation of your booking is required in writing to me, and 50% booking fees payment is to be made within three (3) days of making your booking. If the 50% booking fees is not paid within three (3) days of booking, the booking date will be released, and your booking maybe cancelled. Exceptions and extensions may apply at my discretion.

PRICING : Please note that all prices are subject to change. If you have already paid a security deposit then you retain the rates invoiced at the time of booking for the respective booking.

TRAVEL FEES : Travel and toll fees maybe incurred depending on the distance of travel required. There is not a set amount, the fee is solely based on your location. The amount specified in the quotation and is determined according to the location provided at the time of enquiry. When contacting me for an appointment, please provide me with your address so I can give you an accurate travel price.
if the location of the service changes after the agreed upon quotation is given and/or deposit is paid, I reserves the right to adjust the travel fee if the distance is increased.
For areas more then 10 minute drive I charge the standard GST rate of $1 per km return + $20 call out fees per hour
For all inner city locations please arrange parking - if this is not possible parking is to be reimbursed .
All Waiheke Island bookings have a standard $250 per artist travel fee. This pays for the inner city parking, ferry ticket/waiting time on the ferry. Please arrange transport to and from the ferry terminal for the Artist once arrived on the island.
Minimum mobile service call out for Special Event (Except Wedding) is 2 people for both hair and makeup or otherwise you can come to my home studio in Westgate, West Auckland.

EARLY MORNING FEE : (Arrival Prior To 7am) $50/per artist.
Early morning fees of $50 (per artist) for each hour prior to 7am will be applied.

BOOKING FEES : To secure a date, a BOOKING FEES is required to be paid. A 50% deposit is required at time of booking. Deposit payment information will be provided to you via email. When a deposit is made please know that the deposit is non refundable (cannot be refunded if the appointment is cancelled ) & non-transferrable ( cannot be transferred to another appointment).
Please be advised, dates and scheduled client times will only be reserved one a deposit is received. Until I receive that deposit, the date is still available for someone else to book.
The total remaining is to be paid via bank transfer as arranged at least 4 week before the booking date.
Any last minute booking (e.g. with 14 days or less until the date of your booking) is payable in full up front to secure your booking.

CANCELLATION : Accepted forms of cancellations are email or by text.
WEDDINGS - Should you wish to cancel your booking, you agree to forfeit your non-refundable booking fees, plus pay any cancellation fees, as noted below.

Cancellation within 6 months : Cancellation within 6 months of the date the booking falls on will still require 50% of the invoice to be paid, as a cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 3 months : Cancellation within 3 months of the date the booking falls on will require full payment.

Upon notice of cancellation, a final invoice will be emailed to the client. Full payment must be received within % days of the invoice date. I reserves the right to take any legal action at any time for non-payment.

​WEDDING DATE CHANGE - In the event of wedding date change, the 50% booking fees is non-refundable. However, the 50% booking fees may be able to be transferred to a new booking date and will be considered on a case on case basis. If the request to change wedding date is within one month of the wedding booking date, the booking fees will not be transferred to another booking date, and any payments made towards the booking will be non-refundable.

I will do everything i possibly can to help cater to any changes you may need to make to your booking, however please be aware that changes to bookings (including booking date or time changes and adding additional services) may not be able to be accommodated due to my availability and other bookings I may have at that time.

GENERAL BOOKINGS - 50% of your deposit is refundable if cancelled with more than 14 days notice. Cancellation made less than 14 days notice will be charged 50% of the total cost. This is due to the loss of income as I would have turned away other bookings.
If any of the reason you must cancel less than 48 hrs or you do not show up for your appointment , your full payment is 100% NON REFUNDABLE and cannot be put to another booking in the future. I will have turned away other bookings and loss of work needs to be covered. The full payment or deposit is only refundable if I am unable to complete the appointment.

COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY
If your event cannot proceed due to Covid19 Alert Level restriction, your booking fees/deposit is not refundable, however you are welcome to transfer the deposit amount to another available date/service/gift it to a friend within 12 months from the original booking date. CANCELLATION BY ARTIST - In the unlikely event that I or my team needs to withdraw from a booking, I reserves the right to do so at any time if I unable to perform my duties for any reason, without explanation. I will then endeavour to find a replacement, either from my team or outside of the team. Only if I is unable to find a replacement I deems adequate, will the client receive a refund ( minus services already performed -e.g Bridal Trial). The client agrees that 100% of monies paid refunded is the only liability to Abby Hazreem Hair & Makeup. Refunds will be made in full within 30 days. I will not be liable for any nonperformance due to unforeseen circumstances.​

BOOKING TIMES : Each service requires a certain length of time to be finished and is not to exceed the time limit due to client delays either during or prior to makeup application. all persons involved in appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract. all services for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive in time.

CHANGES WITHIN A BOOKING - Request to increase total numbers will all be accommodated where possible, but will be subject to availability. Deductions to the invoice are unfortunately not permitted. Any services no longer required must still be paid for, as I would have accepted the booking based on those numbers.

DELAYS : When booking your appointment please be mindful of time you are booking for. If you are MORE THAN 15minutes late to your appointment, it is under my discretion for me to cancel the appointment. A late fees of $25 will be charged for every 15 mins of delay when a client is late for a scheduled appointment time, or if scheduled makeup time exceeds allotted time because of Client being late.
This late policy is the same for Trial Runs and other Special Occasion bookings. This is Non-negotiable.
If we are requested and required to overstay, (provided we are able to stay pending out other appointments), the client will be charged $50 per half an hour exceeded per artist required to overstay the appointment in half hour increments only. (min $50)

PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT
Please be prepared for your appointment upon arrival. Please come with your face clean of ANY makeup. Please your brows already groomed.
If you have allergies or preference please disclose them prior to the appointment. I do not and will not use your personal makeup products if you bring them unless you have notified me before hand.

SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT :
When performing the services, I will use my own supplies and equipment. The client must have available power supply if requested, adequate natural lighting, clean and safe conditions for me to work in. If i deems that the environment is not of an adequate sanitary or safety standards to work in, I reserves the right to refuse the services and the deposit will not be refunded or transferrable.

PHOTOGRAPHY
With the client's consent, the Artist would like to take photos to increase the Artist's portfolio. These maybe used on the Artist's Website and social media pages for future clients to view. The client can withdrawn the consent at any time.

BEFORE ARRIVE ON YOUR BOOKING DATE
PHOTOS : Please have images of the looks you like so we can talk through ideas and plan the best look to suit you. Without the reference image it is hard to describe what you are wanting (and us be thinking the exact same idea). You are welcome to email these to me in advance.

SKIN : On arrival please have fresh clean skin, no makeup on. Apply your regular moisturizer (no spf or spf15 max)
Makeup is only as good and the canvas it is being applied to. Exfoliate your face and neck and keep skin well hydrated (especially if you are prone to dry ski). You could even treat yourself to a facial.
​
HAIR : Please have clean dry hair. Washed either that morning or the night before and blow dried. Please do not put any products on your hair like Oil or serum etc. I can used products to 'dirty it down' if need be but dry shampoo only does so much if it's too oily. If your hair is naturally curly or 'fluffy' and you are wanting a different style, run your irons over it to make it easier to restyle into beautiful curls or a sleek up do.

ROOM SET UP
Certain requirements are needed when I or the artist from my team comes to you, so that we can perform the services to our highest standard. A dining size table must be made available for us to set up at. Ample natural light is necessary for services to be performed properly. A power socket must be available close to work area. If there is no available parking at the location, you must inform me well in advance so that other arrangements can be made. If parking is not free, then parking costs will be passed on to you.

EXTRA PEOPLE WANTING STYLING
If any additional people require styling on the day, but do not have a booking, this is normally not a problem and payment can be in cash at the time of the appointment prior to us starting the service. It is recommended to give me a notice if others in attendance want styling so arrangements can be made. I recommends that numbers for styling are confirmed in advance to avoid potential disappointment where we may not be able to cater to extras.
The client understands that once they pay the booking deposit, they are legally bound by this policy.

BRIDAL TRIAL

For brides booking their wedding makeup and hair with me, the bridal trial will be held at my home studio in Westgate during weekdays. Trials are Monday - Thursday available from 2pm onwards. Due to the nature of my work, Friday - Sundays are taken up with weddings.

A hair and makeup bridal trial will usually take 2-2.5hrs. Makeup or hair only will take 1-1.5hrs.

On the day of your trial, please wear a similar colour to your wedding dress, as this will help with seeing how your makeup/hair will look on the day.
